Re: Oh, the Irony

Re: Oh, the Irony

sorry to hear that...
that's kind of why i never bought into any of the hip attaching cases.. i like to goof around a lot, so chances are high it'll get knocked off.
if you get it replaced go for one of those full body protectors like zagg/GA/bodyguardz and stick that thing in your pocket!

If you are going to run for anything, it doesn't matter what you use, it will fall. I have used metal, leather, plastic holsters, and they all fell, even from getting out of a car... nothing beats your FRONT pocket..

Thats the worst. When you leave it on your lap and then you get out of the car. Thats happens to me at least once a week

HAHA! I learned a good lesson thru my life exoeriences with these phones. The more you trry to protect the PPC the greater the chances you will drop it and crack it.And the less you care for it... the greater the chances of you not even scratching it.

There is a plus though.... the stupid ripping sound of the velcro is sooooo much quieter now.

I will soon buy a magnetic one like I had for my diamond.
My velcro is a lot weaker as well and I've only had the phone for about 2 weeks. Gotta find a better case.

Re: Oh, the Irony

I use the case for the Touch but I would doubt that it would fit the pro. But for diamond users use the touch magnatic case probally the best case around for the diamond

We would change the casing on the phone. So basically all the scratches and dings would be fixed but the motherboard would be the same. So in actuality you would have the same phone but it would just look brand new. Thats how we repair htc out here. If someones screen were to crack, we wouldn't give them a new phone we would repair it. They would save the $50 from insurance and they would get their phone fixed for free because they have insurance. The only thing though is cosmetic damage isn't covered but if you go in there and just talk to the tech I would definitely just change the casing at my sprint store.
I wish they had done that with mine, but they just had to order me a new one. Actually, its a damn good thing I didnt get it fixed, because I lost the phone out of my hoody pocket upon getting out of my car at home, so now its ****ed up even more (wasn't in case this time, landed screen down, luckily screen is fine, just chrome is way worse now).

They told me it could be up to a month before I get my new one, so I have no idea what to expect. They are mailing it to my house. Should I be expecting a reconditioned one, a new one, or what, and should I expect it in a week or in Jan sometime? Anyone have any ideas on that?
