Re: TouchLockPro v1.5 released 11/26/08

I also am having trouble with the 3 touch method to awaken the phone. I disabled the light sensor. removing the stylus works every time.
The battery clock indicator is so small it is hard for me to see the number of touches on the indicator. Pressing the buttons does not work every time for me.
When the phone is turned off the only way i can get it to unlock is to remove the stylus. The 3 touch method never works.
Also when trying to reg edit the program, I get nothing in the LockSettings file using PHM.

Also, I can't figure it out, but waking via capacitive touch is very spotty. Sometimes it recognizes by touching no problem and sometimes it doesn't recognize it at all.
Some people experience this problem. I do not have any idea what is causing this for now. Indeed the Stylus (or keyboard sliding) always works. I think it is related to the HTC API I use for the locking and some external setting having this side-effect. But for now I do not have a solution yet.

It does not seem to occur when you press the power button yourself to power off, but if you suspend in another way (suspendonbacklightoff). But also about this I am not sure, because I do not have this behaviour in my usage.

Version 1.6 is out. Version 1.5 did destroy the locked BattClock when the backlight changed to off. In version 1.6 this is no longer the case. Maybe now the triple (or configurable double touch) touch works better now.

Just to be sure you understand. The capacitive sensor is NOT working when the screen is off, so you have to awake the phone via the power button, before you can unlock via the capacitive sensor.

This works without error on mine and is much better than any other screen lock app. I have used. Thanks a bunch!

edit: Found it on XDA... Thanks!

Re: TouchLockPro v1.5 released 11/26/08

I made a few registry tweaks and noticed that the clock12 didn't change the clock. Wondering if all the reg tweaks aren't working. Value "clock12" / data value "0" = nothing?

Am I doing something wrong?

I think the documentation is wrong. Clock12=1 makes it a 12 hour clock. It's logical that way.

Re: TouchLockPro v1.5 released 11/26/08

1.6 seems to be locking up more on me. I really like this cab, but i am starting to get frustrated with not being able to turn on my device w/o opening the keyboard or pulling the sylus!!

Hopefully a fix is found soon!

I have posted version 1.7 WIP on XDA, which should solve the power button problems. Please test and let me know the results. Some reported that the power button problems did disappear.
