Ummmm, anyone else bewildered as to why you keep your phone in a zip-lock bag?

The Invisible Shield is more of a thin sticky cover that goes on so that's why I was worried how it would dye sorry bout that, i thought you meant gel type cases.

Your welcome. just a tip if ya decide to do it. The red dye alone, actually turned the clear case orange at first I added a little (1/4 of the package) black dye to the pot full of the red dye, and then the case turned to a nice deep red. I was kinda worried about the dye coming off on to my hands after prolonged use, but after a week, all is good, no red hands

uh.. Why would'nt I?!

I work in a transmission shop.
We work with some rather nasty chemicals that could do some rather nasty things to plastics.
Besides dropping it in a bucket of transmission fluid, or heavens forbid the a solvent tank, would ruin my day.

Re: A $1.48 goes a long way... Black Battery Cover!

I actually used to work for Invisible Shield & Sprint and Ive done this trick for TONS of people...

Do the dying thing first. After about a day or so, take it to one of the Invisible Shield carts and have them do it for you (unless you are capable of doing it yourself). I suggest getting the whole phone covered up since the silver-ish sides have a tendancy of chipping pretty easily...

anyways, After you do that, give the shield a few hours to dry and "voila!", you have a sexy, glossy-looking, colorful Touch Pro!!!

Ive actually done this for myself on all of my back covers. so far I have a green, blue, black, a red-ish/ burgandy looking thing, and a tye-dye one for my sister (although i dont suggest doing this one...not worth the hassle).

Wow that looks awesome! What case is that? Do you have a brand or a link for it. Also, what ROM are you using on there, I never saw that one?

Are you talking about dying the actual Invisible Shield or the cover and then putting the Invisible Shield over it? What I was talking about was dying the actual shield itself (if possible). Also, where do you find a Invisible Shield cart? I've never seen one in the mall.

Thanks. I dont remember the name of the case, but its by a seller named gizmoready. Search for touch pro gel case, and you'll find him no problem. They're like $7 each, and fast shipping (2 days). When i got it, there was only pink and clear available. But this great thread got me thinkin Im using the stock sprint rom with spb pocket plus.

it depends on where you are. i was with the company when they first started back in Utah. im in PA now and there's one in the King of Prussia mall and they just opened in Delaware. there are also some in California (Sacremento, LA, and i think somewhere in southern CA), they are opening one in FL, there's one in Vegas and a few more...I will definitely let you know when i find out exactly where they all are.

Oh, btw, it IS possible to TINT the shield but you cannot fully color it without damaging the product. as soon as i get back into the states, I'll post up the pix of my back covers.
