Looks good, I want to get in on this but have come up on a blank buying covers, and I have no local sprint store

Im looking to buy a black one if anybody is interested, also if it doesn't sqweak then that's worth the money for me.

why not? this is super cheap and easy to do!!! i will do more when i get more covers.

submitting my experiences to maybe help others. I don't know if this has been covered, as I'm short on time and haven't read the entire thread... BUT, this worked FANTASTICALLY for me. I did notice some dye streaking, but I have a solution if anyone else encounters it. Looks like 'water spots' as you're rinsing the stuff off of your battery cover. Take plain dish soap and rub the streaks out (with vinyl/rubber gloves)... NO STREAKS!

Excellent tutorial, very quick and makes a huge visual impact on the Sprint Touch Pro.!

I'm going to be getting a TP here in about a month, but my carrier is Verizon and their's comes stock black. Does anyone know if this means I won't be able to do anything with it? I am looking to do a red design on it. If it is not likely to work I will just stop into a sprint store and see if they have a spare silver that I can do black and red.

I do not believe once the battery door is black that it can be dyed another color, as black is the combination of all colors. However, yes, I do recommend stopping into a sprint store, especially repair center, and use either aluminum tape or painters tape to make the stencils to do patterns before dying.
