Dude, you rule. I used the pliers to gently pull the middle connector out, reinserted the battery, and BAM!, it sprung back to life.

Clicked "thanks"

Re: Can't Figure out why my Touch Pro wont turn on, HELP!

Thank you guys so much, I just read this and it worked . But I noticed it still kinda stays a bit downwards and I'm too afraid to try and bend/pull/adjust it. I can still use my stylis to position it back, but I'm afraid I may break it in due time. Anyone know about ^?

Anyways, thanks a LOT!!

You should change the title to indicate that your problem has been SOLVED

Re: Can't Figure out why my Touch Pro wont turn on, HELP!

I want to add another "thank you" and problem solved.

My phone was replaced with one that "looked" brand new in a box (I had shattered my screen), I had almost immediately replaced it with an EVO but just re-activated it yesterday and found the phone cut off a few times then wouldn't turn on.

Why did I say all this? Although my replacement phone "looked" brand new the battery connector was clearly VERY worn out.

PS: Phone runs Android great if you can deal with no bluetooth - I love the keyboard, I miss my old EVO's screen but the keyboard may be worth it.
