Sprint: Rebate issue
I just looked at my rebate status for my Touch Pro...
Offer: $50.00 Check Date Received: 11-13-2008 Status Detail: Your rebate is approved and is in the final stages of processing and should be mailed to you within the next 30 days. Thank you $50.00 is not what the rebate was for. I'm assuming that the device was labeled with Touch Pro, and they ignored the pro part and gave me the rebate for the Touch which is 50.00. So anyone else that has a pending rebate you might want to look into it.

that happened with the Diamond rebates too.. email ecare they'll straighten it out.

Yea, Mine says 80, should read 100. Will Emailing ecare delay the issue or will they send a separate check for the difference?

I just used the contact us link on the sprint rebate site and let them know that its incorrect. It says it will take up to 48 hours to get a response, so we'll see.

Mine says $150 so I aint sayin nothing word to Fat Joe. Its only supposed to be 100 right? We'll see when the check gets here but right now you just made me pretty happy making me go check my status.
O Booooooooo that was a previous rebate from 05. The new one for the Touch Pro isnt up yet. So from enjoyment to waiting lol. Thats my fail for the day i guess. |

Sprint is funny with these rebates. Sometimes you get way more than the rebate amount, and sometimes less. I think their playing inny minny miney mo. That's why I went through best buy cause I was worried that I wouldnt get the proper rebate amount.

I called about mine and they just issued a 2nd check for the difference. I doubt Sprint has many rebates errors that are for MORE money. They do this ish on purpose hoping the customers just says forget it. I've got 5 phones and each rebate was short. Think about it, this is worse than some 2bit thieving cashier trying to pocket a dollar of my change. Sprint, do you really need that other $20 out of my rebate? And to think, some employees come to the forums and cry about customers taking advantage of Sprint. Pathetic.
