Agreed - start with the obvious.

Also search, search, and search. Most of all my questions have answers out there if I just do a simple search on the forums. I'm fairly new but catching on fast. This has turned into a fun little hobby that really sucks up a lot of my free time. I enjoy it.

Guess I need to post more to get away from the junior member status and can officially not be a NOOBIE.

I used the instructions posted by pzztgotbagz to build my cables and they worked great, didn't take long at all. I didn't solider and make mine extremely clean like some others here, but they function great. Honestly don't see myself using them often - fun quick little project none the less.

My guess is this is an ntsc vs pal issue.

The warning pops up that you need the TV OUT Cables, to perform opertation.

If you have the new cable plugged in when you go to the Video Out settings and your getting that message I'd say they sent you a defective cable.

If your needing one asap I recommend you take a look at the directions posted here, it really isn't that hard at all. If you need help private message me and I can step you through it.

Re: A/v Cables For Touch Pro!

Well everyone it seems that it was not the cables that was not working or that my eyes were closed, but it was infact the phone that had a problem. I got a new pro today and the cables worked perfectly. So thank you all for your assistance.

No I backed up my contacts and such on my storage card using PIM Backup. So i dont think sprint does that, you have to backup everything onto your storage card.

Re: A/v Cables For Touch Pro!

I received notification recently that my cables from Expansys were shipped. I hope I don't run into any problems. If it all works out okay, then $24 isn't a bad investment for this feature.
