Re: People you are talking to complaining they can hear themselves??
Exactly the same thing is happening to me but only when I am using my Plantronics 510 bluetooth headset. When i talk straight on the phone everything is fine.

SJ808,
Thanks a lot for your input on Jetware. It seems to work but I'll need to work on the settings. I'm getting a windows error in settings.exe now. After the error disappears, the phonebook transfers by last name only, but it is a start. I'll continue to work on it but wanted to thank you again for the information. |

Re: People you are talking to complaining they can hear themselves??
I ran a few test calls in different environments on Wednesday, and everyone said there was no echo.

Re: People you are talking to complaining they can hear themselves??
People have started to complain to me that they hear themselves echoing during a conversation with me. I sound find and everything on my end sounds fine. I have confirmed this is only when using my BT headset. When using just the handset it works perfectly. I have no hacks installed...Pretty much vanilla out of the box sprint phone.
Any ideas? |

Re: People you are talking to complaining they can hear themselves??
I had people telling me they had an echo too...had to uninstall the audiopara fix to solve it....I had the lite version installed first...then I tried installing the normal full boost version...they both work fine for a little...then people start hearing the echo....so at least in my case it is the modified audiopara to blame....sucks too because it's really nice to have it louder....oh and no operator error...I turned the volume down with both modified audiopara's installed....not the problem.

Re: People you are talking to complaining they can hear themselves??
My headset does not have any problems with volume. As a matter of fact, if I turn up the volume all the way I would blow my ear drums out. I may try lowering the volume and see if that has any affect.

Re: People you are talking to complaining they can hear themselves??
No TP for me (yet.. soon) but I have this same problem on my moto Q. It's the BT headset. I'm using a moto BT that does the same thing. Somehow, the mic pics up the sound from the speaker and repeats itself to the other end. The only thing I found to work with mine was to turn down the volume on the speaker. Getting a new BT with the in ear speaker to thwart this. My wife's got a different BT on her Q and it works fine.

I never had a problem before with this BT headset. The speaker is in the ear canal too.
