I too just ordered one yesterday. I've had my 6700 for quite awhile (3 years by January) and it's in pretty poor shape. It was over a year ago when super glue turned my joystick into a sadstick. For a few months it wouldn't work, then I could get it to respond slightly to up/down/left/right. Later on I could press down on it really, really hard and it would register that. But that quit working earlier this year. These past 3 months however it suddenly became too sensitive. I have to make sure that the joystick didn't touch my face during a call; otherwise I would lose the caller.

I was waiting for the Diamond for the longest but I didn't find it appealing when it came out. Then the Touch HD got my attention but news came that it wasn't coming to the U.S.

So I waited for the Android phone but after playing with the store demo I thought it was nice but not there yet. I don't think I could wait anymore for the next version of Android to come out; hence I put in my order and I'm joining the Touch Pro bandwagon.

I just got the TP in yesterday... Can I say LOVE IT? The TF3D is a lot better then the Mogul interface..

I GOT SO LUCKY with that. I'm the only 6700 owner I know (3 friends of mine have had 6700's 1 sprint/2 vzw) that HASN'T had the joystick crap out. I've had all kinds of other issues, like I'm down to my last battery, and it's starting to puff up. It's just time to move on.
