I also use Bookmark Converter because it also works fabulously on Firefox bookmark conversions.

Re: Transfer mobile favorites to Opera?

Not sure if anyone still cares about this, but Opera 9 build 1957 imports all your IE favorites the first time you run it after install.

It's too bad the newer builds don't do that. You could install that old build, get your oprea6.adr file, upgrade to a newer build, and copy that opera6.adr file over. This can all be done on the device, with no need for a desktop/laptop...

Re: Transfer mobile favorites to Opera?

I downloaded it and installed it, but when I tried to run the program it wouldn't even start, just said the program has stopped working, bummer... Oh well. I guess Windows Vista Home Premium doesn't like playing nice with that program. Oh yeah the OS is up to date from Micro$oft...

Download BMC32b2 (Book Mark Converter 3.2 beta 2) from which is attached or from Bookmark Converter 3.2 beta 2

then

Follow these directions

**Two notes**
  • In Step 9 - You can edit the Opera6.adr file with Notepad or Word easily with the 'Find and Replace' tool
  • In Step 12 - In my case my favorites file for Opera was located in the "Windows\Opera9\" folder
I did a Soft Reset and voila! All your IE/PIE favorites in Opera.

I'm using the Sprint Touch with Windows Mobile 6.1 OS 5.2.20931 build 20931.1.5.0 (which is awesome!), Opera ver 9.5 build 2745 for Windows Mobile, IE Explorer 7, and PIE ver 2.2
