Re: How do I disable auto-unlock?

Sorry for the misinterpretation...

Have you tried rebuilding your notifications DB? It fixed some wake-up issues on my Mogul.

I haven't tried this on the Pro yet, but it's worth a shot: http://www.scarybearsoftware.com/pro...me=checknotify

Mine only comes on and shuts off like that when a MMS message comes in and doesn't download before it shuts back off.

Re: How do I disable auto-unlock?

Ok, so just so we are all on the same page...

Right now I have nothing installed on my stock rom other than some tweaks and non-related apps..

Opening the keyboard unlocks the phone...

if I install S2UL, I can disable this?

Seems to me like there should be some reg hack to disable this native functionality in the phone.. my titan never did this crapola

Re: How do I disable auto-unlock?

I used the simple device lock cab that has easy unlock. Very small. S2U2 has a bigger memory footprint. Plus, the last time I used it, it was buggy. PLUS, it is copying an Iphone. PLUS, it is copying an iphone. Ok, you get my point.

I uploaded the devicelock that I use. Just take off the zip extension. I have used this program for awhile b/c I can map it to a hardware button. i never figured out how to map the stock device lock. It has blank screen on lock feature also.

Re: How do I disable auto-unlock?

I think what the op means by slide to unlock is sliding out the keyboard to unlock the phone. he needs some sort of a locking program. I use sensorlock, it lets you program a movement which will unlock your phone or do it when the stylus is pulled out. a lot of others use s2u2 apparently.

i hate it when my phone screen turns on for no reason... it always happens when i bump it in my pocket, so i use the reg hack found here

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42730

I would never have known if I didn't keep my phone in visible range in my car. The screen turns on constantly, but I don't want to lose the lock feature so I deal with it
Are you talking about the screen waking up while you are driving? If so, I believe that has to do with the phone polling the towers as you move...

Normally I'd shame people for reviving OLD threads...

But you have provided a useful answer that no one else has. And even though this isn't useful for me as I use other locking solutions -- a thanks for you!
