How do I disable auto-unlock?

Every time I pull my phone out of my pocket it's unlocked and doing something... I found out it's because slide-to-unlock is enabled... how do I disable it? I tried the reg tweak for slide to wakeup and disabled it...but it still wakes the phone up...

Battery Life SUX on this thing, if I can't get it improved, I have to send it back, 5 hours of standby time is insane, how can they ship something so poor?

How did you find this out? And who told you this was the problem?

Re: How do I disable auto-unlock?

Well I would assume it's what is unlocking my TP. Every time it so much as moves a half-inch in my pocket, it unlocks... you can try it by locking your phone, and then slide it just a little bit, and let it close, it will unlock it.

S2U takes over the whole task of locking the phone. I have a buddy who has the new version installed and he had to take it off because he had problems with answering the phone when it was on.

If this was a setting he had wrong, maybe I'll try it again but i remeber how bad it was on the 6800 and would rather not deal with that buggy mess again.

Re: How do I disable auto-unlock?

S2U2 is AKA slide2unlock.

It puts a slider on your screen so that any time you turn it on, you need to swipe your finger.

Re: How do I disable auto-unlock?

I have the same problem, and I think all of you have misunderstood it. S2U2 causes my screen to wake up constantly, or at least I think its s2u2 causing the wakeup. It doesn't unlock though, just the s2u2 screen is on. Correct me if I'm wrong OP, but that's the problem I have.

I would never have known if I didn't keep my phone in visible range in my car. The screen turns on constantly, but I don't want to lose the lock feature so I deal with it

Are you talking about the screen waking up while you are driving? If so, I believe that has to do with the phone polling the towers as you move...
