Re: Uneven keyboard backlight?
Yeah mines' exactly like the last photo. Oh well, in the dark it's all lit up. If I cant see the keys they are lit enough, and if they aren't lit enough it's because theres enough light around to see the keys. It evens out. Kinda gay that this thing has so much light under the 2 button.
Does anyone know how to take the keyboard up and out? Maybe someone can come up with a way to disperse the light better. |

Re: Uneven keyboard backlight?
The biggest frustration for me is the fact that my wife's LG Rumor has a keyboard light that is bright, evenly dispersed, and stays illuminated for a proper length of time.
LG got it right at that price and, on the flagship of Sprint's line, HTC didn't? Are you kidding me? |

Re: Uneven keyboard backlight?
Okay, here's the thing. Obviously this uneven keyboard light isn't a defect because EVERY phones has it. Saying that it's like buying a new car with one headlight dimmer than the other...well, if every car they produced is like that then its not a defect, but just part of the build. That doesn't mean that the intended build is flawless by any means. But your phone is not defected if every single Touch Pro has the same back light variation.

Re: Uneven keyboard backlight?
well see Ive noticed that you can buy the keyboard insert online, which leads me to believe it can be replaced (taken out.) If we could get under there, we might be able to do something to redirect the light outward. I have no idea what, but everyone here seems to be smart enough that we could figure something out...

Re: Uneven keyboard backlight?
But... I thought there was someone a few pages back that claimed to have a perfect keyboard...
Maybe they have poor eyesight!
