Uneven keyboard backlight?
 

Hello-

I just got a Touch Pro, but I'm disappointed to see the keyboard backlight is very uneven...the number keys are bright, the rest are very dim.

Is this defective? Or are all of yours like that?

mine are all lit evenly. on problem i dont have. Lol

Blah!

Now I've gotta return it. I knew it was "wrong", but I just wanted to ask here first. I have such bad luck with keyboards. Had the same problem on my 6700, and same problem on my MBP.

I demand a picture of this! What is your build date? How good are your eyes? No one has reported an evenly lit keyboard!

And to the OP, it seems almost EVERYONE's Touch Pro is like this. A bit disappointing

my tp i got replaced last night for other problems had a perfectly lit keyboard; however, this new one is uneven and sux :(

To top things off, my data won't work on the new one...sigh...

My number keys are noticably brighter than the rest, but it doesn't fade off to the point where the lower keys aren't lit. In the dark, the number keys look brighter but everything else is even. Same issue?

I would like a puic proof of a even backlit Pro keyboard. I thought those did not exist.

Mine is lit as well as my Mogul. My friend's Touch PRO, however, has very bright 3 and 8 keys.

Pics please. I refuse to believe this nonsense! I seen like 8 Pros and all had uneven kb.

Some people are just so anal about things, nothing is perfect, if you kept exchanging over this tiny things, you're just driving everyone insane (including yourself).

want a perfect device ? make your own. geez
