Anybody tried this? I got this off another forum and I'm a little to newbie to give it a test run.

In their info page they list the following:

Keyboard layout

Slide wake up

Keyboard backlight timeout

I'm pretty sure this is just the registry tweak posted a few posts back, but i'll give it a try.

Well i dont have 3.5 .net but i installed and ran it. changed teh backlight timeout to 2min. i can assure you it wont go past 10 secs. that fix does not work. santa please help us

10 seconds, you guys are crazy. I get 6 seconds if i'm lucky.
Sometimes it will shut off right after i'm done typing and touch the screen.

OK EVEN IF THIS Can be accomplished " Please make a separate File .. for those who do not have " Custom Roms ... BC ppl Love to twik But not always "flashin new roms .. thanks " " i help anyway i can . A .cab auto installer would be great for this fuction .

all of those posts on xda-developers is for the gsm version. apparently we have some driver that needs to be altered

If only this could be fixed I think this would be my best phone ever. I have everything the way I want and can't find a fix for this. I am willing to "contribute" to the fix.

Don't bump a thread unless you have info to add. Bumping a thread doesn't automatically fix the issue. This is a big enough hassle that if someone finds a fix, you'll stumble upon their discovery in a reasonable amount of time.

Some people are watching this thread for useful info. It's very annoying to click only to find "bump"
