Sprint Startup Sound/Animation

+1 on Advance Config program. It allows you to disable/change start up and shutdown sound and gif.

Xtatic - not a double post. I am not talking about the Windows Startup sound - it's when the Sprint animation is going on. It's a different sound.

I get a BOINK sound then the Windows chime sound when the screen turns green. Sprint Animation and boink sound > Windows sound and Green Screen.

Not cool.

Thanks Darren, I will try it tonight. I did read that it caused issues with the modem part of the phone, though. Also worried this will just take care of the Windows startup - not the Sprint part....Do ya know if it will take care of the Sprint part - not just the Windows startup?

I would prefer there be no sound.....but I get a little BOINK sound then followed by the windows chimes when it goes to the green screen.

Does that make sense?

Thanks for the software, but it no workie. I did tweak some other stuff and that was cool, so thanks! I switched out that awful green screen to an old TV test pattern. Haha. But, the Sprint splash screen is still up and doinking me! Grrrrrrrr, I can't remember if it did this before but today, I have had it!

Heh, I just hard reset my phone (for other issues) but PRIOR to that, I fixed it with the that Advanced config tool. Look under HTC Animations and there is a Startup Sound tweak there. I just switched it to PhoneOn.wav in the windows file. I had previously modified this wav to a null file. So now, NOTHING!

Works well. Installing that bad boy here in a minute....
