If it comes in a box like that, its new, if you get JUST the phone in a plain (usually white) box, its a refurb...

Its funny, at least 35 threads a day are people who tried to flash and messed up, or wonder why in the middle of the night their phone up and did a hard reset by 'itself'.

I'm sure thats a pretty safe assumption, but I just had to double check to ensure it really was new... I am completely satisfied with Sprint's customer service.

Greetings. Over the past couple months, i was realy happy to skip over this thread and say "thank goodness it hasn't happened to me". Well today i took of my gel case off to clean the screen, and noticed 2 spots on the chrome ( edge above the stylus) that look like a spider web. The cracks are about 2" apart from each other, and look more like a broken windshield. Grrrrr!! This thing has been in a case for 95% of its life and ive never ever dropped it.
If i knew for sure that the cracks would end here, and not grow, i wouldnt really care. But after reading this whole thread, it sure sound like they'll only get worse. I'm usually not too concerned over cosmetic issues (like a ding in the plastic, scuff marks, etc..) but if this sh*ts gonna peel and get crazy ugly, its not acceptable. I'm gonna hot the local sprint store and see if they'll swap it out. Guess there's worse things in the world if they don't, but i'm really hoping they will. Wish me luck?
