HOW? : 30 Day Exchange from Diamond to Pro?

I have my Diamond that was orderd through "sales order" dprt over the phone.

I am wondering how hard it is to do an in-store swap and what all do you need to do it?

I have a confirmation code that says im allowed to do it in-store BUT was also told that its up to the Manager at that store.

For all you ppl that ordered through the phone and did an in door swap, what exactly did you say or do to do it?

After problems with several Moguls, Sprint sent me a Touch Diamond (did not like that phone). So when I called and told Sprint that it was not as equal a phone as the Mogul and the sound quality stunk. I wanted a phone that was compatible to what the Mogul was in what it could do. So they told me that since the Diamond I received was only 3 weeks old I could take it to a Sprint Corporate store(these are the one's with the Tech's in house) bring the box and everything that came with it and I could exchange it for a Touch Pro. And it actually worked I now have a free touch Pro.

It all depends on the store managers/people... The ONE store in my city has always given me problems, even though its a corprate store. There are some stores that dont even want to do what they are supposed to do as a corprate store, so I've given up on the stores and just call Sprint directly or use e-care, I get much better results that way and less aggrivation.

I actually bought my Diamond 20 days ago in store, then ordered the Pro over the phone last Thursday. Got my Pro Monday and brought back the Diamond for full refund at the store without a single question asked.

I ordered the Mohgul but took it to a Corporate store and exchanged it for the Pro. All you need is the box and the packaging slip.

I ordered TP and received a diamond! (6950) so I went to local Sprint store with the diamond and exchanged with TP(6850) just paid the difference. I told them I changed my mind I think TP is better so I want to do a exchange. I had order confirmation email with me for proof of purchase.

Bought the Diamond in store, ordered the Pro over the phone. Got the Pro, walked into the store on day 22 of the Diamonds life, said i want to return it, and walked out with my money. That simple. They asked why and i pulled the Pro from my pocket, they said OK.
