The problem was that even though I was on my Wifi, no drives were showing up to add until the soft reset. After that, I just had to enter my user name, password and domain name (to access the router) and I'm good to go. Now I just need to figure out how to activesync over my network.
I could be wrong but I think the only way to use ActiveSync is via USB or Bluetooth

Re: File Sharing Over WiFi Network

I was able to connect to my shares with resco a couple times. Now when I select my pc I just get a wait cursor until I soft reset. I tried everything in the resco FAQ and nothing. Same goes with the network folder plugin. I'm going to try that network browser program dr g suggested

Re: File Sharing Over WiFi Network

The option to have a folder visible to everyone on a network isn't there. In those instructions from Microsoft (where you goto folder options) the item wasn't in the list to be checked. :/

Re: File Sharing Over WiFi Network

XP Home. The instructions are for xp pro. I guess Vista home has it now? I dunno. Would be pretty sweet to transfer movie files or stream them over the network, but what can I do? I've got xp home...

Do you have an MSN or Hotmail account? If it's fine with you, I could try remote assistance to set it up for you. I pretty much control your computer screen from my computer, but you get to see everything I do.

It would also help if you installed MyMobiler and established the connection between your phone and computer so I can set it up on your phone as well.

Just let me know

Re: File Sharing Over WiFi Network

thanks for the offer but I hardly know you. Please forgive me for being untrusting.

If it's possible, I'll figure it out I'm sure. I'll look into it more tonight.
