Under GPS.... then aGPS. Set it to Disable.

If aGPS (assisted GPS) is disabled, that only leaves stand-alone.

It was disabled to begin with. Actually, it's default setting. Should I play with registry settings? Like set GPSMode to 1?

Modified the registry the following way and it seems to solve the problem. Gets a fix in around 1 min.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\SUPL AGPS]
"GPSMode"=dword:00000001
"EnableGPSSmartMode"=dword:00000000
"EnableAGPS"=dword:00000000
"EnablePDEIPFromNV"=dword:00000000

Oh I'm sorry. I had the impression that one of the versions of both programs was free. I am aware of ppcgeeks no warez policy and am strongly against software piracy.
