Re: TomTom on touch pro..anyone got it to work?

Hi Guys,

Sorry to dig up an old thread, I'm having major hardware keyboard glitches with TT7 on my Touch pro, I can see a couple of other guys are having the same issue. Has anyone found a fix yet , or are there some dodgy handsets out there, (of which i have one....).

Is it a fixable issue, or do I need to use the warranty?

Thanks in advance for any replies, helpful or otherwise:>

Tim

Re: TomTom on touch pro..anyone got it to work?

This is an old thread, but I can confirm that TomTom Version 7 with version 8 maps is working for me. I have to be outside to aquire a GPS signal but thats to be expected. i know some other people can get a signal indoors. I used TomTom when I had my Tilt and and Mogul. It has never let me down.

tomtom doesn't need to be primed anymore on the pro

Is your glitch when you type with the keyboard, there are A's with circles on top of it?

It doesn't happen when I type using the screen keyboard, but it does happen with the hardware keyboard. When I get home later, I'll update this post with a picture of the problem I'm talking about.

Besides the hardware keyboard glitch, it is working very well though. The glitch however has made me reconsider other mapping services, specifically Garmin Mobile XT.
