do you mean the internet. I am very interested in the Fuze or the Touch Pro. Im satified with spint and dont want to switch, but i travel alot to europe and using the touch in europe is not an option with sprint. The thing holding me back is the horror stories i hear about At&t 3g being crappy. Anybody able to compare the device on both networks yet. (i know its early).

It's niiiiiiice on the Sprint Pro. I'm not looking forward to the experience on the Fuze.
An alternate solution that i found worth for me to buy was mtoken. It supports keys, saved sessions, and lots of other features. They have a free light version i think. http://www.choung.net/mToken/

Re: AT&T Fuze

I got a chance to play with the Fuze today at my local att store. First impression, Impressed! I noticed the whole phone is Black like the GSM. It even has the diamond facets like the GSM. I think att is gsm right? Well anyways... after playing with it I notice the specs are very similar to the Sprint v ersion. The keyboard was alot smoother thou. And the key layout was terrible thou. The upper rows are not numbers but symbols. Also.. it has the jaundice screen. Slightly yellow compared to mines with has a whiter colder hue. Also.. the TF3d was alot faster. But it lacked all the colors Sprint put on theirs. So it looks very dull. I must say I really appreciate the colors Sprint put on theirs now. finally.... its was weird.. it felt a little lighter. Dont know why.. maybe the battery was smaller? So to end it.... I am very glad I got the Sprint version.

Re: AT&T Fuze

interesting. While I would assume the screen colors can be changed, but you say the at&t version seemed smaller. I wonder if it is the exact same as the europe-GSM version. Then maybe one can buy the extended battery. Slightly leaning towards at&t now, but its gonna cost me

I'm referring to putty being slow to connect to an SSH server, nothing about the TP being slow to connect to data or data being slow.

Re: AT&T Fuze

I had posted this a few days ago, but never saw any replies to it and can't even find the post now, but I got an e-mail from Amazon listing the top 10 hot gadgets and one of them was the Fuze.

I have a Sprint TP, but just HAD TO go look at what it looked like, etc.

Well, others have posted about the slightly different look and all that, but what got me was the price!

Amazon had it for $175 plus a $25 mail in rebate, bringing it down to $150!!! Yes, with a 2 year agreement. But dayyyum! Almost $100 cheaper than what I got with the Best Buy Rewards discount. Ouch!

A few years ago I got a great deal on Amazon for a T809 from T-mobile. It was free after rebates with a ONE year contract, as opposed to around $100 with a 2 year contract just about everywhere else. I love Amazon!

As far as I know, it's $299 if you buy it directly through AT&T, just like it is through Sprint.

I was surprized that no one commented on this, even though this is basically a CMDA board.

Anyone? Bueller??

I just checked Amazon again and it's $25 higher, but it's still a great deal if you're with AT&T and want to stay.

You'll get more interest from users at XDA developers.

PPCGeeks and XDA are practically sister sites.
PPCG = CDMA
XDA = GSM

But still... I need to stop in to AT&T and play with their Pro. I especially need to see the back cover!
