Re: Touch Pro Essentials
Yep... but there's one trick to using it...
After making most changes, you'll have to reboot the phone. Unfortunately, if you just make the changes and reset with the soft-reset button, the changes won't stick. The solution? Simple... either wait 60 seconds for the changes to be committed to the registry naturally, OR hold the power button to force the phone to shutdown. |

Re: Touch Pro Essentials
I'm not sure if you'd like to add this or not, but I think it'd be a great addition, I have seen multiple people asking around for it. A program you can use for the Touch Pro and presumably the Touch Diamond(I use a Touch Pro) for a pretty good VGA Java program that will run Java apps & games (I've only tested with the latest gmail APP thus far and it works very nicely, it'll even stay open in the background unlike previous editions with the midlet 2.0 (not sure if you can run multiple apps/games though.) The direct link to download this for free is;

Here is an installer I made that bundles two utilities I've found today that allow you to toggle the Bluetooth and Wifi radios.
When you install it, it creates two shortcuts in your Start > Programs folder called BTOnOff and WifiOnOff. Tap once to enable the specified radio, tap again to disable. I assigned them to my Manila "Programs" page for quicker access. BTToggle Source WifiToggle Source |

I posted an update on the Old School Word Correction hack on this thread...
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...69&postcount=5 Basically, REMOVE the part that tells you to change the Text Layout to "COMP IME" ... this is what breaks everything. |
Re: Touch Pro Essentials
OK, seriously, I wish I had found this a year ago... I could have saved myself HOURS of time changing my contacts File As name by hand! :(
