Is there a way to disable the "touch wheel" from resizing the text in text messages? I always resize the text inadvertently. Instead, can the wheel scroll instead? The same with emails... This is a big annoyance to me.

this is AWESOME...I just unloaded tf3d, copied the files into the windows folder, soft reset, then turned on tf3d and it is so FAST...the slider has never been this fast on my tp or on my prior diamond even with the juicy rom on it...

and whatever program that says start that shows up in the running programs, I just excluded it so I don't see it and you would never know the difference...sweet man

hey maybe you can help

i downloaded the rar file and unzipped it on my desktop. i disabled tf3d on my phone from the today settings. i tried copying the files and got an "access denied" message. did you copy from your desktop to ppc via windows explorer? or did you copy it to a differnet directory, then use resco or total commander?

i tried soft resetting and using dotfred task manager to kill every process i could find, but it still said access denied when i tried to copy the new manila files over

A few I've been posting in more then one thread:

Old school word correction:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Layouts\e0010409]
"Ime File"="\windows\compime.dll"
"Layout Text"="COMP IME"
use this and then go into settings input and enable auto correction and perform a soft reset

For those that hate the annoying/ laggy stock T9 word correction. You can revert to using the one most of us are familiar with from the Mogul etc.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Switch Mute Call on phone flipped face down:
HKLM\Software\HTC\PHONE : FaceDownMuteRing: change value to "0"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Disable Start-up sound or change it:
HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\HTC\HTCAnimation\
rename both "StartupGif" and "StartupWav" to other target to switch and leave blank to disable

edit 090661f7_manilla, use notepad to do it and then use Resco Explorer or simular to send it back into the \windows folder.

Easy way to fix is look for "Sprint Music" and delete Sprint and you're done. This is the same way I change Mail to E-Mail and Music to LilRico's Music :D

Finally got rid of the startup sound. I followed the advice in the first post to remove the startup animation and sound. Though it removed the animation the sound that plays when the green "windows mobile' screen first comes on still plays. This is annoying because I charge my phone on my nightstand overnight and I also have it do a backup overnight, as part of that Sprite Backup resets my phone and then you have the annoying startup sound that wakes me up. Here is what I did. Via registry editor navigate too..

HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\CDMA\FlightM odeOnOff\

Open up 'Sound_on' and remove it's value (currently pointing to a wav file)

Might want to add this info to the first post. There's an issue with IMAP Gmail and sometimes it breaks and won't allow you to send emails. You have to delete the account and set it up again. The CAB in this thread supposedly fixes it.

A soft reset usually solves that issue for me

Sorry, noob here. Can someone explain the file paths to me? I want to turn off the sent message notification, but I don't even know what:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settin gs] Set SMSNoSentMsg to 1

means.

Help thanks :)

I managed to relink my calendar in TouchFlo to open up PocketInformant. Here's a link to my post http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42924

The app I used lets you customize TouchFlo quite a bit it seems but my only need was to use PocketInformant.
