Re: Touch Pro Essentials

I'm really having some problems getting the flip clock and background for all pages to work correctly. I've attempted this 5 times and each time the slider icons are not centered. I have the Touch Pro and I've used the search feature and read through every thread that I could find on the topic; however, I still have not been able to find a solution. I've seen screen shots of other peoples phones that shows that some people have been successful with this and I was hoping that someone would be kind enough to help me.

These are the steps that I am taking:

1. I change the wallpaper to the default standard wallpaper.
2. I disable TouchFlo.
3. I install mUn BackGround4AllPages v.02.cab to the device and then soft reset.
4. I install Sprint2FlipClock.cab to the device and then soft reset.
5. I install mUnBGM_Sprintfix_NisseDILLIGAF.cab to the device and then soft reset.
6. I enable Touchflo.

Everytime that I have attempted this it has resulted in the flip clock and background for all pages being successfully installed; however ,the slider icons are not centered. I then restore from SPBackup and try again but get the same results. I've also attempted switching the order of steps 3 and 4 but it still resulted in the slider icons not being centered.

Finally, I've noticed in some threads that are closed by moderators that people referenced the section called "Wallpaper on every tab, transparent clocks and curtains" in the Touch Pro Essentials thread; however, the link associated with that item in the first post of this thread does not work.

UPDATE: Nevermind. I guess the 7th time installing it is a charm. :)

Jonesle7: Sometimes changing to different sliders will fix it also.

I just installed the Bell UI on my touch pro, its amazingly fast! I love this thing. I think if anyone is not too happy with TF3D performance install this UI:

(link has video of UI in action)

It has its downsides, no quick way to get to recent calls, not very customizable etc. But its an easy install, you can easily switch back to TF3D and is very responsive.I think my favorite aspect is the new contact menu and the integrated message center that combines all texts, mails etc into one area.

um, do i need a program to use these cabs??? cuz i just installed the transparent clock cab and did nothing.

If you still have the stock TF3D clock, most of the custom clocks won't work until you install a flip clock first. Once you install a flip clock, all of the others will install fine. I use this one.

Don't think I saw this in the list. Here's a link to the VGA PPC Themes section:
