So for those of you that cut the blue wire on the htc adapter 2 questions does it only open video out when the A/v cables are hooked up.I popped it open and cut the wire but when I plugged it in it didn't pop up the video out screen.Also am I correct to assume that it will no loner work with regular headphones if you do that?
