Re: SERO account holders, how'd you get your TP?
i have SERO $30 plan grandfathered......this is what i did.
1) i pressed *2 on my phone(mogul) 2) i said "Customer Service" 3) i said "Sales" 4) i told the woman that i wanted the TP with the best rebate available even though i got my mogul a year ago. 5) waited on hold 6) woman came back on the line and told me $299 had ben charged to my account and the phone will be shipped in 3-5 days 7) i asked if there were any changes to my kick-a$$ account she replied, only a 2 year renewal of the current plan

Re: SERO account holders, how'd you get your TP?
Worked out great for me. I had a big issue in September when tech support deleted my account for a voicemail problem. I was on SERO and it took about 5 hours to get my account to the price it was. They were trying to convince me that I have to pay about 6 dollars more and thought that was ok because someone decided to do this without my consent. They told me I can get another 75 bucks on my 1 year upgrade next time I buy a phone.
I walked into best buy on saturday with my 20% coupon. They put one aside for me when I called earlier. The salesperson began everything and there was no problem at all. Didn't even say anything about my plan. The phone came to 240 after the coupon and I was good to go. I just called sprint last night to add on the 75 extra dollars and he saw it in my notes and did that also. I basically paid 175 for it and I was not even expecting that. As long as you have a 1 year upgrade available then you can get the Touch Pro for 299 at best buy with a 2 year agreement. |

Re: SERO account holders, how'd you get your TP?
SERO was a promotional plan "Sprint Employee Refferal Offer" which is no longer offered, it has been reworked into EPRP "Everything Plus Refferal Program" and it is not the same as far as pricing and offerings. -CC

Here is the fact from BB website: Q. What is a contract extension? A. Contract extensions (also known as "upgrades") are the best way to get a great deal on a new phone without switching carriers. Sprint will subsidize your new phone purchase if you extend your contract, depending on your eligibility and the length of time that you extend your contract. Q. Am I eligible for a contract extension? A. Not all existing Sprint PCS customers qualify for contract extensions. Sprint sets threshold rules as to who is eligible for a contract extension. In order to be eligible for our exclusive Sprint PCS contract extension offers: - You must have maintained continuous service on the existing Sprint PCS phones being upgraded today for the last 22 months - You must subscribe to a $34.99 or higher Sprint PCS service plan - Your account must be in good financial standing and without late fees - You agree to extend your existing contract with Sprint PCS for an additional 24 months http://wireless.bestbuy.com/addition...viewmode=1#top |

It's possible to ask them to just charge the price of the phone (and any associated fees) to my account so I can get get it without any money? Do they do this often or was this case a rare exception? |

Re: SERO account holders, how'd you get your TP?
How are you guys getting them for $256 at Best Buy? The list on their site is $749. Do they take off for the 2-year contract or something in-store?
