Re: Has anyone been able to order through ecare?
Mine's 10/18, seems like the ones with problems are from the lower teens batch
i've gotta say, i have no complaints about the battery so far... it was one of my main concerns prior to receiving the pro because people were whining, but it's been 14 hours since my last charge and i'm at 70% and the battery hasn't even been broken in yet. |

I just send an e-mail to ecare. I have been going back and forth with the local sprint service store about replacing my mogul. They are not very friendly at all. They first told me there is nothing they could do about the "white spots" that I have. I ask how they could sit there and tell me that was normal for their top of the line phone (at the time). Finally they agreed to send me a referb under warranty. Went in today to pick it up and it the the exact same issue. They finally agreed to send me a new Mogul but I would have to pay one dollar (no idea why?) and shipping, plus an "upgrade fee". This did not make me happy. I told them I was not upgrading and it wasn't fair to charge me an "upgrade fee" plus shipping for a warranty issue. Finally they said to reject the package and wait for the mogul to get back to the warehouse and they would look at trying to upgrade me to a Touch Pro. I don't have much faith in the local store so I just e-mail ecare about it. I told them the scenario and told them I would pay the "upgrade fee" and shipping if they upgraded me to the PRO. I would also pay any difference in price. (I don't think there is any?) but I was careful to be very nice in wording and not pushy, just to kindly ask to be fair on both ends. I hope its enough for them to upgrade me. I'll post the result.

Re: Has anyone been able to order through ecare?
when they activate, the phone and texts work instantly, but there's up to a five hour delay for data services... if it doesn't kick in by then try going to update profile in settings... if that doesn't work, you could use the data workaround that's posted here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...5&postcount=42
and finally, if that doesn't work, tech support will eventually fix it for you as long as you try all their instructions. edit: heh or are you just saying you can connect data, but getting bad evdo coverage? if so, nevermind! haha. just figured u meant data in general cause that's what uses evdo. Re: Has anyone been able to order through ecare?
Well personally I didn't have any problems with data. I know some people had problems when they turned on the phone before actually activating it first so I don't know. But as soon as I got the phone I immediately activated it then turned it on and everything worked like clock work. I did do a hard reset before using it as well.
