Re: HTC Touch Pro Hacks/Modifications

I did try some of the TF3D hacks on this page and I saw a HUGE increase in performance. Thi one worked the bst on th sprint toch pro:

Boost TFL3D Performance --> HKLM\System\Storagemanager\Fatfs and change key Cachesize from 16384 to 32768
Much quicker than number 1 on it’s own, now stonkingly fast.

Any thoughts?

Like others mentioning mine showed zero as well, but that means automatic. If you use advanced config to change it, it shows auto when set to zero and you can change it there as well as directly edit it via registry. Advanced config only allows changing to 8MB though, so you have to registry edit to go to as high as above.

I made the change haven't played much to comment on if it helps or not.

I really want Advanced Config 3.3 (your first link) but the developer's site is down due to bandwidth.

I asked in another forum for someone to post a cab, but haven't seen a response yet...

EDIT: Found a link: http://www.4shared.com/dir/257641/71...Pocket_PC.html

Can someone post the original info for this registry setting? I want to undo this as I'm now experiencing lots of text input problems

Thanks!.
