Re: Verizon HTC TOUCH PRO Information
i'd feel bad for the verizon people though if thats the phone they came out with. just the keyboard alone isnt as good. its a great improvement over the software keyboard, but its just not the same. the keyboards on our sprint versions work GREAT. the keys are just big enough to use with awesome speed *if you know how to type on a real keyboard*. it just seems so fluid to me.
I do also have to agree though that i like the colors on the face buttons on the verizon buttons though.

Re: Verizon HTC TOUCH PRO Information
The forum has been down so I have been trying to keep up. Now here we go, Demo model of the verizon Touch pro is to arrive Wednesday. Now I started checking the phone today with the program provided from qualcomm and I saw a weird reading 401mhz but the processoor was seen as 7501a. Now after to verifing this, I attempted to overclock and received the error the processor was not at full performace overclocking was not a option. So im looking into it further to see what exactly is going on and see if I can change the processor to MAX performance. I am also awaiting the verizon DEMO model on wednesday and will provide some of the hardware specs to see what verizon is planning to do.
Now the discussion was normal as such, but they were stronger today on the subject about updating Full specs of the HTC Touch Pro, They requested information on quantity of unmarked units and also requested one be sent to them for testing ( This normally happens when they want to send a phone for FCC approvel). So this could mean good news or they could be just wanting one for testing ( doubtful ). Last edited by criticalaudioinc; 10-28-2008 at 05:58 PM. |

Re: Verizon HTC TOUCH PRO Information
Ha! I had Verizon call me a few weeks ago and ask if I wanted a new phone. I said yes, but I would be switching to Sprint since they would not be gimping the phone. I wonder how many opther people said something like that, and if they actually listened. I know, it is doubtful, why would Verizon actually listen to their customers...

BTW....is it me or does the Verizon Touch Pro look less 'curvy' and more 'boxy'? |

The design is based around the HTC factory design and not the curve design, sprint pulled that trademark due to sprint is into the whole SLIM phase as we speak. |
