S2U2 vs Touch Pro

i'm running stock rom, s2u2 1.33 and my weather is set to manila 3d -- icons display just fine. they're not animated, is that what you're talking about?

I think you turn off the "Blank Screen on Talk" setting under the "On Battery Power" section

That is weird, I'm running stock rom 1.03.651.3 and my weather is set to use manilla 3d, I see no weather icon on my S2U2 screen only missed call , voice mail, SMS ect.

What reg edits have you made?

I've run the battery .cab, the 4 icons in a row, the outlook "reply" tweak, the SMS no sent messages tweak, installed diamond Tweak and used a few tweaks (sensitivity, etc.)

nothing huge. still stock.

I gotta tell you - I was a huge slide to unlock fan - have produced wallpapers for it etc - but I have been running without it for the past week and can tell you, the phone just runs better without it. Less reboots, less temporary freezing, less oddities going on.

Just my personal opinion. The first thing I did when I got the pro was load it - but I think I'm better off without it - despite how slick it is.

The screen is much less senstive than other phones. I only used S2U2 for a few days, even though it worked perfectly.

Now that I am back to my Touch, I use it again. For whatever reason, the Pro was not as inclined to have issues where I felt I needed to lock the screen.

Also, if you go into settings, you can change the long-press-end-key setting to lock the screen.

I guess I'm not the only one.
I only have problems with it in the carrier when something decides to turn the screen on for me.
it will get itself somewhere pretty quick trying ot install, or removing icons from my program list. haha.
But that happens maybe once every other day.

I'm waiting for a good belt clip version for a holder.

I have also had problems not being able to pick up incoming calls, very frustrating. So I uninstalled S2U2 and I still have issues....I think something was left that has cursed my phone. I would hate to redo my whole setup. Does anyone have a fix?
