Re: S2U2 vs Touch Pro

I think "raw buffer" is just using the standard Windows API to draw. Theoretically, it could quite well be using hardware acceleration... It just depends on how the API is called.

I'd like to see an "OpenGL ES" setting

Re: S2U2 vs Touch Pro

i was just about to post about this...

i hade the same problem with S2U2 v 1.32, at first, as it seemed, it ran so smooth i thought it was benefiting from those magical drivers lol, then, after closing one time, it started running like it did on my mogul (well, before that it was even lauching on screen)

i changed to gdi and it didnt even show up, so i literally had to spend a couple minutes working the supper laggy settings program back into default.... i installed v 1.33 and its running better, but bot as good as the first time it ran.

Also, since it isnt that smooth, i disabled the slider. I really love this program because with it being set to take over on backlight off, and me settkng it to sleep the device (non blank screen), battery life is great... until i start using it for hours on end lol

Re: S2U2 vs Touch Pro

does it run in conjunction with tf3d or does it run OVER tf3d thereby rendering tf3d useless?

Is that why TF3D is sluggish compared to TF2D I had on my Vogue? (noticably slower.)

The rest of the phone is lightning-fast compared to my vogue though...

..trying your suggestion... thx

edit: instantly, I notice that the animation is smoother... very strange..
Not strange at all. The only time Ive seen slowdowns in either TF3D or 2D is when the Music tab is scanning for new music. Once that's complete, everything is usually good to go.

Re: S2U2 vs Touch Pro

I had numerous issues with S2U2. (yes I set to raw)
Phone not always unlock on new calls, Slider occasionally starting at the center of the screen and ending off the screen making it impossible to unlock, double unlocking required occasionally. I've uninstalled and am looking at other options now.

Anyone also using Gyrator 2 with this?
