Any good sites for docks and accessories yet?

Hey guys,
I've been using my old mogul charger (1000ma) for overnight charges over the past week and so far no ill effects have been noticed. I notice that the charger that comes with the touch pro is only 500ma. My USB charger in the car is also 500ma and it simply can't keep up with the draw when using the sprint navigation program while driving. It's not a crazy drain, but after 90 minutes of gps use, I'd lost about 20% of my battery even though it was plugged in to the 500ma charger. I see there are 1000ma usb chargers that can work with a car outlet. Has anyone tried one of these? Is it safe to assume that the touch pro can charge faster with a 1000ma charger? Or am I being a naughty monkey for using that 1000ma charger with the touch pro in the first place?

I'm an Architect so I don't know much about electronics so any help is greatly appreciated.

That's odd. the TP charger that came with mine is 1000ma. (1A)

If you use GPS, BT and 3G the needed current will exceed 1000mA.

I'm using the HTC 2000mA car charger HDC 02. It will do for all your mobile needs. Use Google to find or this link (very cheap?!) http://www.netimes.com/shop/htc-dopo...-c-80_422.html

Mine that came in the box is also 1000ma. I just reused my Touch wall charger on my TP. I compared all the specs on the back of the chargers and they are identical. The TP charger is almost too pretty to use.

Does the magnet in the case cause the tp to wake? I heard something about how it interferes with the magnet that wakes up the tp when you remove the stylus. I hope not the case looks hot -

I also use my mogul charger on my TP with no ill effects. In my opinion i swear it charges faster and the life of my battery has increased greatly. Almost like the battery conditioned itself quicker.

yep...I'm an idiot. or maybe I can blame it on my old eyes. I re-checked my TP charger and it is indeed 1000ma.

Hey JeeVee, I'm thinking about ordering that 2000ma charger that you referenced. How long have you been using yours? The price is nice but sometimes I get a little leary when it's too nice .

I'm not too keen on using devices that exceed factory specs. But to each their own...and their warranties.

As long as battery has overcharge protection then I don't see any concern.
