FINALLY a PPC that Skype works on!
Anyone notice that the latest version of Skype for Windows Mobile works great on the Pro? People might have noticed this with the Diamond...I dont know....but I think this is just wonderful!

Skype worked on my mogul...... just needed the right version

It comes through the speaker, but does work with headsets.
Didnt know it worked ok on the Mogul...my bad. I didnt have the mogul long enough to really dig into it. I know I could never get it working on my Touch.

Yes it works! I hated upgrading to mobile 6.1 on my touch because Skype never worked. Well, I was pessimistic when I upgraded to the touch pro because I figured Skype wouldn't work, but it works fine. I am using the most updated version of skype which I recently downloaded from the Skype website.
Part of the problem with using Skype on WM phones is the fact that the audio comes out of the speakerphone speaker, which on most phones is on the back of the phone. On the touch pro, the speakerphone speaker is on the top of the phone, which means you can hold it to your ear and use it like a regular phone. I talk to my brother in Thailand on a daily basis.
