Am I missing something or is there a way to make a call from my phone's contact list in Skype? Thanks.

No. I believe that IM+ Skype offers that ability. Otherwise, you have to add your contact to your Skype buddy list,

Edit...I am lying...I just went to my windows mobile contact list...scrolled to the contact I wanted to call, click and hold on that contact, and the very bottom option says "Call with Skype." Clicking that opens up the Skype application, if its not already opened.

Thanks for the post and to all those with that provided tips.

Skype is working great off the bat on my Touch Pro.
The voice goes though the earpiece and works fine through bluetooth.

I could never get skype to work on my old PPC 6800.

I still cant get skype to work on my touch pro, i DLed it to my phone directly and installed (is that how you guys installed it?)

It appears to DL and launch correctly, I can even login, BUT i cant send a call still, the green phone icon will not light up. Then on the page with info about my account, the top box says my account isnt active.

This isnt right though because I can login to my account on my mac and make calls out instantly with no issues and I do have an account.

I opened a ticket with Skype and they havent even replied in over 2 months.

If anyone has any pointer im all ears!

OP and many said the voice goes though the speaker only, but some said the voice goes though the earpiece, are we talking about the same Pocket PC version: 2.5.0.108. Release date: December 9, 2008? I am using mogul now and using the old version of skype, voice goes through speaker, but other can't hear me well many times.

I blieve i had 2.2 on Mogul and always came through the speaker...

What program are you using to switch it to Bluetooth, and which headset are you using?

I use acbToggleBT-0.8 with a Plantronics 510. I can hear fine, but the voice is unintelligible and sounds like a chipmunk from outer space.
