1st the OP was "finally a ppc that skype works on"... so you only ever tried it on the vogue? wow that's one ppc phone out of like alot, glad to know you tested your theory before announcing your findings or actually experimenting..
2nd you couldve just searched and seen that tons of ppc users have and use skype, also discrediting you own wild conclusion that you were the mad genius behind making skype work on a ppc..
3rd skype works on my mogul as well.. not through speaker phone either.. it works like a reg call through the ear piece.. and before anyone asks I didn't mod it in anyway I downloaded whatever the version was like 3months ago and it works fine.. since skype using data for calls, maybe its your choice of browser or something.. I use just the reg wm6.1 IE.. maybe all these flashy roms cause the problem I dunnno...
feel free to yell at me over my post but no questions about how I made it work like its suppose to.. if its not about the only banned topic here, then I don't know a ton about it..sorry

Wow dude,....I think you are assuming alot of things. Did you have a bad day or something? Anyway, to address your thoughful feedback above:
- If you had looked at my phone history before beginning your rant, you would have seen I have owned only 4 WM phones. I have also owned an old Ipaq. With every device I personally had before, I had a pretty frustrating time installing Skype and actually getting it to work in a usable manner. Now, I will admit...in the scheme of things, I haven't really tried it on that many different devices, and I applaud you for so helpfully pointing that out. I will gladly submit myself for your judgement for not clearly stating that I have neither owned nor scientifically tested Skype on a large amount of Windows Mobile devices. <rolls eyes>
- I have read alot about Skype on WinMo. But, I specifically focused on the installation on the Touch and the MotoQ. Yes, I apparently jumped the gun and got excited that I can now effectivley use it and came on to PPCGeeks to report it. I assure you, there was no rush to go post this first to gain some sort of credit or acknowledgment for having figured it out first.
- How wonderful for you that Skype works on your Mogul, without you having to do one thingto make it work so flawlessly! However, as is obvious from the others asking about using it and also expressing suprise that it works so well....I would say I'm not the only one whos had problems with it. The last time I checked, forums like this are designed around the notion of helping each other by reporting ideas and discoveries that we think may help someone else out. So, again....I submit myself to your judgement for thinking I might be posting something of use. I will make sure that next time I post something, that I search google all day and night, to make sure the subject has never been covered before. Then I will PM you and get your approval before submitting the thread.
At any rate, whatever the reason for your helpful reply, I would just like to advise that you may want to take a deep breath and calm down a bit. I don't know who *****slapped you today, but it wasn't me.....so get off my @ss.
<sigh>
