Switching Touch or Mogul for Touch Pro w/o Insurance

I've read a bunch of threads where people were successful in being offered the TOUCH PRO for Mogul/Touch thru Ecare.

My Questions:
1) Everyone who was successful with this has INSURANCE? Or is it possible to get without.

2) Being that the MOGUL is priced highter than the TOUCH VOGUE...are u only likely to be offered that deal if u have MOGUL?

I have the TOUCH and am comtemplating my options

I have insurance, and I have the Touch, paid for the Mogul. I got it, but I would think it was cause I originally had the mogul. If you want to get something better I would think you'd have a better chance with the Diamond.

Despite several attempts with eCare, they would not exchange my Touch for the Touch Pro, regardless of what I was willing to pay to replace it.

Instead, they gave me $100 credit to use toward any phone on top of any instant and mail-in rebates.

YEAH, I COULD TRY FOR THE DIAMOND, BUT I WOULD MUCH RATHER HAVE THE TOUCH PRO FOR A BUNCH OF REASONS.

What did you say to eCare? I am in the same situation, originally bought a Mogul and had it replaced with a touch because of bluetooth issues amongst other things. I really need a keyboard though and am thinking of getting the touch pro. I sent an email to eCare and all I got was that they would replace my touch with another touch or with a Mogul. I don't want to go back to the Mogul because its way too slow.

I need to know what to tell eCare to get a deal on a Touch Pro

And I will be pissed off if you manage to screw sprint and get a free one. I have a legit issue (Mogul dead, none to replace it with under insurance) and the best they would do for me is bumping me to $150 upgrade credit a year early, and giving me $175 towards the TPro, plus a month of free service for the month my phone has been unusable. 599-150-50-100-175 = $125.

Hey..I have Legit Issues with my Touch also. I literally couldnt use it for 2-3 days last week...cause it would Freeze up for hours. When someone called the Phone would Freeze.
When I did a soft-reset...it would say "Win Mobile 6.1" for like 45 mins...and not just re-boot.

So this isnt an issue of comparing levels of suffering! lol
