Official email from Sprint. BTW, the NEW TP2 will not be released until later in the summer because Sprint just released the PRE and is about to release the Snap. So look for the TP2 in July or August.
Uh huh. This is gospel, right?

Oh, wait...

Re: voice command not announcing incoming calls

w00t! well i dont know about anyone else but i just got my voice command to work! k when you go to start:settings:voice command, highlight one feature at a time. example: messages clixk on messages ans thwn click on OPTIONS and UN CHECK only announcw high priority msgs. i did that and now my phone is reading txts for me.

same for incoming call announcements, when you highlight PHONE and click OPTIONS "announce incoming calls" was unchecked on mine by default. so i checked it. i havent tried calling myself yet but im sure it will work.

Re: voice command not announcing incoming calls

The new Sprint rom update fixes this issue and the VC works great.

Ok Sprint/MS, what gives? I have the Touch Pro2 and when I checked the "announce incoming calls" under voice command today for the first time NO JOY...I have tried everything suggested in this thread but the registry edit. I did hear the phone read an email or msg when I got it two weeks ago while playing around in discover mode checking out all the features. Little history is I have been missing this feature since I had it on a Samsung 6 or 7 years ago.
