Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

Where are we all at with TP's radio rom... can we start changing our radios around for more power conservative versions?

Re: Heat Heat and more Heat

I am looking for conversations around whether or not there are other CDMA radio carrier versions of the rom that I can sub out on the TP. I understand that the diamond has an several radio options, some with lesser power consumption and/or less heat generating potential.

Anyone know anything?

check this out... after a full 9 hours on the charger, I took it off and was surfing the net for an hour and a half - no streaming, just surfing... battery life dropped to 30%!!

Thumbs up Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

Hi All,
I'm wondering if besides the GPS, WiFi 3G and Bluetooth....the application processor running at 528Mhz is not a cause for the poor battery life time ?

Re: Heat Heat and more Heat

I bought 2 TPs. One for my employee and one for me. In testing them side by side I noticed that mine got a lot hotter than my employee's doing the same function. Yes I thought it was too hot and could hurt the phone over time. but since only one of our two phones got hot, and the other got a really warm, my conclusion is that there is variation in the batteries that create heat in some and not in others. I wonder if the extended batteries that can be added to this phone would solve the problem.

Re: Heat Heat and more Heat

I wonder if the batteries they use can be recalled. I'm not so sure it's the device, although I'm still waiting for mine so I can't speak. My old cell phone got really hot too at times. especially when using data.

Re: My battery hates 100%

You guys are a bunch of freakin' wizards! I'm proud to say that last night I drained my battery until it shut off (of course amidst a fight with the misses...), and this morning my phone has as much % left as it did yesterday at 8:30. I should do this maybe 2-3 more times in a row and then once a month after that? Thanks again guys.
