They really need to make the slide out keyboard a touch style keyboard or something. Or make the kb a lot more durable. I can't believe all you guys are beating on your phones...well everyone accept codybear he beats on it regularly! haha

hahah.
bout time you start trying to talk crap about me horn.
I was getting nervous since you've been kinda quiet lately,
or so it seemed,
I was waiting for a grandmaster attack from your or something. haha.

And TP really isn't that bad,
it's the keyboard ribbon.
They need some kind of clasp on it to make sure it doesn't pop out.
I mean what electronic cable (that's inside a machine) doesn't have some sort of clip or something on it to make sure it stays firmly within the slot.
I hope whoever designed that part got fired because it's a definite epic fail on their part.

This worked for me....when they say hard....they mean HARD!

What clued me in is that the keyboard would stop working, then when i pressed the spacebar, everything would just fly on the screen. So I pressed the space bar HARD! and now, everything is back to normal

I took my phone in and asked about the strange lag I was having with my texting. I would start going and then all of a sudden the text input would stop and throw in a bunch of spaces! This morning I woke up and it doesn't work at all. I flip out the keyboard and the lights come on as they should but then the light turns off and no texty for me. The SALES had no idea about anything and told me to uninstall an Arcsoft program that I installed so that I can actually send PHOTOS without it taking a week and a half to send. Anyways, Sprint should hire some more technicians and not sales people to keep on staff. Today I have to drive 20 miles to the closest store with a technician to fix me phone.

FYI I tried pressing really hard on the space bar and it didn't work. I decided to stop because it felt like I was going to break the phone in half with my womanly grip. Lols.

if you take your phone(tp1) to an repair center with this problem are they suppose to swap it out from a list now? because isnt this one of those known issues they hey rather give you a new phone than to just kee replacing them because it cost them to much.

The touch pro is a bust. My keyboard has quit working on all 4 i had this year for no reason. Nobody can tell me whats wrong with it and i cant even take it back to verizon anymore because they said i have had problems too many times. so im stuck with this phone until i buy another phone outright
