I don't see why this wouldn't work on a Fuze--although the Fuze I used for a while didn't have any earpiece issues whatsoever. The speaker also sounded better, in my opinion. With the Sprint version, at least, it's kind of a crapshoot to get a Pro with perfect speakers. I can safely say, that my 5th, and 6th Touch Pros had damn-near perfect speakers. I didn't have to install ANY HACK at all, and it was perfectly usable.

Installing the audio boost onto my other ones resulted in buzzy/garbling earpieces, so I ended up returning them anyways.

Good luck, and badboy, thanks for putting in the effort to make this modification--I know many have found it useful, even it it was to emphasize the problem to a Sprint rep

Re: TWEAKED Audiopara.csv louder earpeice, spkphone, and BLUETOOTH WORKING!!!

I tried this with my TP since the volume was hardly usable. I tried the lower boost first, sounded better in a quiet room, but not while driving, or any other noisy environments. Tried the louder boost and, while it did help, everything sounded too garbled. I then got my wife a TP, and that one was louder from the box (I did a hard reset from the getgo on this one). So, I returned mine and am waiting to see if she really wants to keep her TP or not. If not, just going to put it on my line.

Isn't it strange? I had several units, and some had great volume out of the box, and some didn't. Some were garbled, or just low volume. It's a hardware/QC issue. I have heard that many more of the newer revisions aren't experiencing these issues--but I don't know for sure, as I gave up hope a while back.

Re: TWEAKED Audiopara.csv louder earpeice, spkphone, and BLUETOOTH WORKING!!!

Can some1 tell how I can uninstall the Audipara hack.

I want to see if that is causing my inability to adjust my call volume.
Thanks!

Thanks John - unfortunately, it was part of 1 of those stickied cab suite, so it isn't itemized by itself in that view.

So unless I uninstall everything or reinstall the audipara by itself over the 1 that's in there now, it's impossible.

However, I think my issue is related to using the WM dialer instead of Touchflo Dialer. Apparently, volume adjustments get taken away when using WM dialer.

Yes, they do but there is a cab that fixes that problem.

I use PocketShield to lock my TouchPro & that comes with a black skin for the Windows dialer as part of the program. Using that skin takes away all the ring delay on incoming calls & gives a little more free mem.

When you select that skin, it installs a cab to enable the stock WM6.1 volume control which works perfectly.
