I was just about to post basically the same questions. (except for the codecs part that I don't understand ).

Just looking for a simple explanation (which may not exist) of how to 'tweak' the 'tweak' for individual sound volumes.

Installed .cab file and used the lighter volume boost. Excellent work BB and thank you very much. My volume is perfect through my earpiece and speaker is actually speaker now

Can somebody pleasetell me that, why, when i install this i get the lowest volume sound ever? (i get this with both cabs, doesn't matter).
No i didn't install them both at the same time :/

And btw, yes i have my volume turned all the way up!

Try uninstalling it & then reinstalling it.

I had this happen the very first time I tried it. I'm like WTF, this isn't any better.......

Then someone suggested deleting & reinstalling it. I didn't figure it would make any difference, but had nothing to lose so I tried it. The second time it worked fine.

Well, i guess it worked now since i got sound. Doesn't sound allot harder then the default settings. (i used the lite boost)

A lot of it depends on your particular phone. I have two TouchPro's sitting here in front of me.

Both have the loud audiopara installed (I'm 56 years old & I can't hear sh!t anymore)

One of them is so freakin loud it hurts my ear & I have to turn it down a little. The other one is OK & I can hear it, but I wish I could actually make it a little louder......

To add to that, one of the TP's is three months older than the other one & the older TP is actually louder of the two.........

OK guys. I have a two week old Sprint Touch Pro. The volume is crap both in the bluetooth, speaker and earpiece. I first read all the threads , installed the loudest cab and soft reset. No difference. I uninstalled and then repeated the process and still not a noticable difference. I uninstalled and tried the lower boost and repeated all the steps. I am not a newbie so I know I did this correctly but this isn't working for the newer release phones I guess. The other issue I want to correct is the bluetooth. I have a motorcycle that I run my phone through my gps and by the time it hits my helmet I can't hear anything. Any other phone works fine with this. Any updated cabs for newer version phones? Or is there something else you think I might try? Super frustrating.
