TWEAKED Audiopara.csv louder earpeice, spkphone, and BLUETOOTH WORKING!!!

I am really really new to this. I am hearing impaired and wanted to download the file that will make my phone louder. I think I have saved the file to my HTC touch but am unsure what to do with it and how to extract it. Can someone guide me? If I dont like the way it sounds, how do I go back to the old one without erasing all of my contacts and info stored on the phone. Thank you very much.

basically you need to

1) Find the file using file explore in your programs list on your phone. If you saved the file to your phones memory card look there.

2) simply double click on the file to run it. It will ask where you want to install, device or storage card. Choose device.

3) If you do not like the way it sounds, go to DEVICE SETTINGS and then to REMOVE PROGRAM and choose this audiopara file. Then uninstall.

Please hang in there with me. I have located the zip file, attempted to extract them to the device, however when I double click on it to run it I get a message that says, "File association is not available for 'AudioPara3.csv'

I searched the device settings and remove program area and do not see the download suggesting that I have correctly installed the download.

Any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong. I really appreciate those that are answering and trying to help me.

Yo my man, apparently you have problem getting audiopara in your TP. You must have a registry editor like total commander,resco explorer or other(there is one posted on the stickie on the PRO essentials useful dowload) when you havE A REG EDITOR on your TP,then you can grab the audio para from your SD card and drop it in windows on the TP, you must get a prompt asking you if you wish to overwrite the existing one........ask if you have more questions...good luck

installed the audiopara file in windows.. now i don't have a speaker !!!! call volume has increased but no system sound or rings...

did you soft reset? you might as well try the other audipara version while you at it and see what you get. if it is a no go for you then, let's put the stock audiopara back

I followed some really nice instructions on how to do this as posted earlier in the thread. I am hearing impaired and am having a hard time telling if this has made a difference.

How can I tell if the zip file is extracted, open, and correctly running?

(Please take me through this step by step as I am new to this.) Thank you!

It installed correctly if it prompted for "do you wish to overwrite the exisiting file" also you must notice a sound increase. A priceless suggestion for you is to get a good blue tooth, the jawbone 2 for instance,it is very loud and you wont need to hassle with the audiopara

Don't extract the files from your PC to your device. Copy the audiopara file to your Touch Pro's storage (storage card would be advisable opposed to system storage). On you Touch Pro, open up the file explorer program and locate the audiopara file. Open the file right there on your touch pro and just follow the prompts. Choose install to device when given the choice of device or storage. After it is installed, soft reset your phone (use the stylus to push the tiny recessed button on the bottom of the phone) and you should be good to go. If that doesn't work, post back in as much detail what you are doing and we'll get it working for you.
