it doesn't matter where you download it to. It's a zip file so you'll have to extract it first. then put the cab file anywhere on your phone and open it and it will install it.

Walk me through this if you can. I am trying to get my blue tooth or any headphone volume boosted.

I have a new Sprint Touch Pro (ROM 1.03.651.4)

I have downloaded the files:

AudioPara3.csv
Badboy8813 Audio Fix- (Full Volume).cab
Badboy8813 AudioFix- (lite Boost).cab

What do I do with these 3 files? (obviously I only use one of the badboy files, but what do I do with the Audiopara file and the other badboy file?)

Install the Badboy file that you need and copy the AudioPara3.csv file to the /Windows directory.

I believe that's it. And yes it will work with your ROM

I have the Touch Pro2 slide out phone.
Windows 6.5

I have tried all these cab files but also had a look at my Windows dir.

I cannot find a Audiopara3 file, mine has Audiopara_max and Audiopara_Medium.

So it does not help me at all to tell me I have to make a backup of Audiopara3 and replace it with the new one.

I would like to change the volume on my earphones.

I did install reg editor .

I am sure there must be some setting in there for the volume of the earphones?

Someone suggested:
There is a registry fix for this on here, I managed to make both the speaker and Headphones a fair bit louder.

go to HKLM\software\HTC\AUDIGAIN\

and change (speaker):
EAC_GAIN_EMBEDDED to 71
CODEC_GAIN_EMBEDDED to 07

and change (headphones):
EAC_GAIN_HEADSET to 71
CODEC_GAIN_HEADSET to 07

BUT I don not have the audigain in my registry...

Please help!!!!

This did not work on my touch pro 2. matter fact it made my sound go completely out. couldnt hear anything thru speaker or headset. had to uninstall to get sound back. can someone help.
