Thanks for the heads up on this post..Soon as I read it I called the Best Buy in Menomonee Falls WI...The woman said she literally JUST got them in about an hour before I called. I went there and picked it up.

She mentioned they will probably be on the floor within a few days,but was able to sell them now.They only got 4 I think..I got 1 and in the process of activation (ESN swapping),2 employess came over and said they were picking up the others after work lol..

After all rebates (contract extension etc)reward zone discount,total was 252...Killer deal for this phone

The SRP supposedly is 750 (or so she said)

Oh I do, I visit the Orlando area quite often having Universal Studios passes. I was just over there last week in fact, love the mummy ride. I like the drive but don't feel like going all the way over there for this. There is a thread here that has a link to a BB inventory tracker and it lists the bay area stores as having them. Enjoy your phone!

I HELD one, but couldn't buy it. Tried returning my HTC Heat Box, I mean Diamond to the sprint store, then going to Best Buy to get it, but (of course), eligiblity hadn't been reset. They did, however, give me a diamond back, and extended my return time, so I can get it on the 2nd (extra $50 ain't bad)

I got mine too!! I haven't been able to use it to make calls or anything yet... I had them port the number from US Cellular and I am still waiting. When I went under the phone options it is showing a different number so that made me go back to BB (2 hours later) to ask whats up. They called Sprint and they said that it will assign a temp. number until the porting is complete....

Man I want to jump on this thing!

For anyone that switched to Sprint for this phone... how long did/does it take for porting between carriers?

i bought mine for $60.
$299 (2 yr contract price) - $180 (instore credit from previous purchase) - $60 (20% coupon) = $60 out of pocket for me.

i am in the oregon area and the best buys out here have th htc touch pro, i just got mine and i can swear it is sweet, the best phone out right now, i have not witnessed any problems in the two hours that i have had it. once, i turned it on, i started getting text messages from my friends on it and without reading the manula, it was easy to reply, the keyboard feels so good and easy to type on. way better than the worst phone ever that im going to smash up tonight and use it to scare the kids on halloween. yes, im talking about the samsung instink.

I had a similar issue, but worked it out by calling the Sprint retention dept then having the Mobile manager call their Sprint rep. Retention went so far as to say the SERO plan qualifies for the mail in rebate, too. After all the hassle, I will have paid $137.95, 237.95 if the MIR doesn't fly. I'm still on SERO.
