After looking at the link and reviewing it there is no way we can include that in the rom as it is Palm sms and that is not a freeware app and not distributable Palm has clearly stated their opinion on this matter and we will respect that so no it will not be in the rom

IMHO, the most pressing issue with the CDMA units (Sprint) is the radio ROM. Please see the following post where I note the power usage with various radios, obviously there is an issue...

This problem is related to SQLCE 3.0 not being included in the ROM. AFAIK, if you have SQLCE 3.0 installed, it'll work fine. I posted a fix for this on XDA and here also I think.

We're working on the files now. Trying to find the "latest and greatest drivers" so that we are using the best files. I can only hope Alltel releases their device soon so I can get my hands on one. Or at least a dump from one. I need an official release date! Anyway, we are steadily working on it, and I promise any wait will be worth it. We only use true legit builds of Windows Mobile. None of that "might be legit" crap like 20921 was. I think at the moment, the newest shipped ROM I've seen is 20757. So we're starting with that one till we find newer. So just figured I'd keep you posted on the status. The donations list should be updated soon, and I just want to say that we "Greatly" appreciate all donations! They will not have been made in vain.

A couple of questions:

1: Are you planning to include Voice Command? I see the GSM Folks did not in RC1

2: Is there a more VGA friendly version of BejiveIM, or are there edits that can be made so the icons aren't so tiny?

3: Any ballpark on a release date?

#1 we will have to discuss this and will let you know

#2 in our gsm rom BeeJive looks and works fine so you should be in luck

#3 Release date is unknown atm as for the fact that almost none of the team have devices to start work or develop with so please keep donations coming so we can get some devices and produce you something amazing

Also if you need a link to 20759 let me know. It is a lot faster and a lot more stable then 20757.


Edit: I added all of the version numbers for the programs on the Alltel Touch Pro. So it should help everyone get an idea. most of it is old stuff by now, with the Touch HD, and HTC MAX out.


Are you planning to include Social Networking with the new album, to allow uploads to facebook? I have youtube working but cant seem to get Facebook to upload. Just curious to know if you would include this or now.

I did get me a Touch Pro yesterday, and will be working very diligently now on this project (least as much as my wife will let me.... lol!)

20759 hmmmm.... Not downloaded that ROM yet, but link me to the ROM for later.
