Also, why does HTC insist on using such stubby batteries? They could throw in a 3-4mm thick battery that runs the entire length and width of the phone, and get 1500mAh easy....

It is probably hardware related to boards and layers... They might not have a choice in the matter...

Well Just got off with Telesales its 12:40am 10/30 est and they say it is still not accessible in their systems and to try to call back tomorrow as they have had many calls in regards to the early release.

Spoke with them today and there release information is showing in Nov. They have not release a exact date due to delay's with roms and branding. But they did state a nov. release

Problems with the touch pro:

I have been taking down every consistent issue I have seen and will then provide it once the touch pro review comes around, this will come around soon due to so updates are already in design as the engineneers have been busy from what I can see.

Touch HD

This was the next Confence call that was informative. HTC sprint are discussing FCC model review. Another HTC touch HD is being provided with the new CDMA design. HTC was fasinated with the fact the HD with the Radio swap did so well. Designs are also being discussed further.

If I missed anything please post it and I will catch up on it tonight for you.

Any way they can make a touch hd pro critical can you find that out please

I had pre-ordered mine from EVP on Monday, and they told me it would go in on the 2nd, ship overnite on the 3rd, and arrive on the 4th -- this matches the official release date most people seem to be hearing.

So far I'm pretty pleased. The only trouble I've had was when I first popped in my 4GB MicroSD card, and it bogged down something fierce while the media player went and indexed all my files. Since that was done, it's been running great.

No issues with the speaker. No issues with the battery cover. No issues with the screen. The zoom control is a little too sensitive -- my big thumb tends to make it want to zoom in/out when I just want to hit the activate button in the center -- but that's an issue with my anatomy, and not really with the device.

I think I'm probably one of the first few people in Western WA to have one of these. I guess I'm pretty special until next week.
