Went to Best Buy in South Brunswick, NJ this morning and found out they had ONE left in the store.

Called Sprint while still in Best Buy because I'm technically not eligible for the upgrade rebates until November 1st (1 week away) to see if they would cut me a little break since it's just 1 week away.

While the woman was checking to see if they could adjust my eligibility date, she offered me another $70 credit to my Sprint account if I renew my 2yr subscriber agreement with the her on the phone when I purchase the HTC Touch Pro from Best Buy.

Then I was told (after being on hold for about 10 minutes) that they can't adjust the November 1st eligibility date but they'll still give me the $70 if I renew my contract today.

Said "No thanks" and that I'd wait a week longer for this phone because Best Buy's retail price on the phone without rebates is $749 plus tax.

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Oh well...it was worth a try.

New member here, very excited about this phone.

I want to extend thanks to criticalaudioinc for all his help and information he has provided. No doubt we'd all be less informed about this phone without his efforts. =D>



I have a simple question, I dont see anywhere if its been confirmed or not if this phone will have access to sprints NFL mobile access. Can anyone who has gotten one confirm this? Thanks!

I know E-Care won't be able to ship me a TP until nov. 2nd. Just got the email this morning.

Were they replying to your email or did they just emailed you as a courtesy.

I suggest you order your phone through retentions - they might give you a deal that meets what was offered by Best Buy, sorry to hear about your spot of bad luck.

The only problem you have is telesales does not have the phone for order yet, so it will be a little, now why they would not give you a break something is wrong with that, a week? comeon how about some common sense and courtesy. I back you up that they should have given that to you.

I had sent E-Care an email yesterday (10/24/0 asking them when they would be able to mail out my TP, since they had agreed to doing so. They sent an email back stating

The HTC Touch Pro has not been released yet and are currently expected to be released on November 02, 2008. Please contact us after this date and if the handset will be available, we will place the order for you.

So it was a reply back.

Sent an email to cancel my EVP order this morning. I got the 1 and only at the Best Buy down the hill from my house.
