i was under the understanding that the Verizon device was crippled according to the specs they got cleared by the FCC

Currently I have one my engineneers attempting to convert the program provided by qualcomm for over clocking and testing the Processors into a smal cab file that could be used for over clocking the pro. But he is also making sure it can be safe done and not risk the device but wheres the fun

Overclocking is making your processor [or other hardware] run at a higher frequency than it was designed for. It causes an increase in performance, but excessive overclocking can result in permanent damage to your device...

You are correct, that phone has been approved but due to the up rise that verizon has seen and they have been getting reponses from high majority of consumers about the crippling, verizon is in discussion of not crippling the pro, which would not be difficult and would save them money.

I will compare the update from XDA to the one we have available to see if the comparisons are the same.
