I was thinking this as well. It would be another week before they could arrive at the individual stores.

From what I remember in the original thread, Critical had mentioned something about the 2400 mah battery being able to fit the same cover as the 1800 mah battery. Thing is, I don't know if both of those would fit with the standard backing because the link from expansys was for the GSM backing and he clearly stated that the GSM backing wouldn't work with the Sprint version (or CDMA version, for that matter).

With the industry I work in, time is of the essence, so in the rare occassion that I need to have something shipped on a Sunday (normal day off) to make it to the East Coast by Monday morning, it's good to know that there is something for "urgent" shipments. It's never on my dime, so I'm not too worried about the costs because it would be charged to whatever division would need something.

Anything new on the release date or are we still looking at possible 29th but for sure the 2nd? Btw.. I am back with the Touch. And I cant believe how terrible the screen is compared to the vga diamond screen. Also.. I do have the bad Touch screen with very limited view angle. Now.. I just cant wait for the pro.

is this the case ?.. i think these leased out repair shops that they have that are reflashing the phones are located all around the US .... they must have it figured out that the best buys get the phones at the time same ....

i wish telesales would start taking orders on the 25th ... and ship out on monday the 27th

Like everyone else I am eagerly awaiting the release of the Touch Pro. I currently have the original Touch and have always had trouble getting my local weather on it. I have had to resort to weather panel for my home screen so I can get my current weather on my phone. I live in West Texas (Midland) and weather is really a big deal out here as we do have quite a bit of severe weather. Can anyone tell me if the Pro (or the Diamond) has the ability to add cities that are not on the list?

The Diamond does, you can add several.. I currently have 3 on mine and it updates very quickly.

Just to clarify, you are able to manually add cities to the list and not just have multiple cities selected. Thanks

Yes. I have 3 cities in mine. Atlanta,Ga,,Athens, Ga, , and Shreveport, LA. that I have added manualy.
